Urban and rural growing for social sustainable development – a pre-study for an EU-application between Malmö (Sweden), Cape Town (South Africa) and Copenhagen (Denmark).

The pre-study has shown relevance and feasibility that together with international partners in South Africa and Denmark further develop methods for social sustainability and democracy through city farming and through working with the locals’ – especially families, children and youth – own experiences and stories. This will be done through language learning in a way that support a living cultural heritage (stories and cultivations) as well as international experience exchange.

In September 2014 OWB and Malmö Museum visited our danish partners. In October 2014 we visited partners in Cape Town and performed a pre-study.
